I was just pondering on coupon redemption rates..
so I did a google search and found a couple articles.

Coupon Use Hits Record Highs

• '2009 - 367 billion coupons issued, 3.3 billion redeemed -  27%  increase from 2008's 2.6 billion 
• 89% of coupons come from Newspapers
• 1 in 5 who receive an internet coupon , redeem it
• 64% of Cellfire.com users are Women age 25-34

Though a record 332 billion coupons were redeemed in 2010 alone
